The MODU ONE® ecosystem on display at Valve World Americas 2025 in Houston, Texas

In early June 2025, Denmark-based MODU Valves unveiled the MODU ONE® series at the Valve World Americas Expo and Conference in Houston—a new ecosystem of six modular valves sharing identical face-to-face dimensions designed to streamline engineering, maintenance, safety, and procurement processes.

The introduction marks a significant shift in how industrial facilities approach valve systems. Rather than managing multiple valve types with unique dimensions, spare parts, and installation procedures, the MODU ONE® ecosystem offers a unified platform where every component is designed to work together seamlessly.

Six Valves, One Ecosystem

The MODU ONE® series comprises six models, each engineered with identical face-to-face dimensions and interchangeable components:

A10
3-Piece Ball Valve
B10
Soft Seated Check Valve
C10
Sector Control Valve
D10
Strainer Inline
E10
Sight Glass
F10
T-Strainer

Key Features and Innovation

The A10 Ball Valve, the flagship of the series, showcases the innovative features that define the entire ecosystem:

Perhaps the most significant innovation is the MODU Safe Mounting (MSM™) stem system. The MSM interlock includes an extra security tab that ensures error-free actuator alignment during installation—eliminating one of the most common sources of maintenance issues in valve systems.

"We didn't set out to improve valves. We set out to rethink them entirely. MODU ONE® represents a fundamental shift in how we approach flow control."

Benefits for Engineering and Maintenance Teams

The modular standardization enables several practical benefits for industrial facilities:

Simplified Maintenance

Because all valves share identical face-to-face dimensions, replacing any valve in the system requires no piping modifications. Maintenance crews can swap a ball valve for a check valve—or any other type—without welding, cutting, or custom fabrication.

Reduced Inventory

Interchangeable spare parts across the entire ecosystem means facilities can stock fewer unique components while maintaining full coverage for their valve systems.

Streamlined Procurement

Engineering teams can specify MODU ONE® valves knowing that any future changes or replacements will be compatible with existing installations.

Improved Safety

The MSM interlock eliminates guesswork during actuator installation, while the elimination of hot work permits (due to weld-free replacement) reduces safety risks during maintenance.

Looking Ahead

With the Valve World Americas debut, MODU Valves positions MODU ONE® as more than a product line—it's a new approach to flow control that prioritizes simplicity, interoperability, and safety. For facilities tired of managing complexity, the modular ecosystem offers a compelling alternative.

The full MODU ONE® series is available now through MODU's global distributor network. Technical documentation, CAD files, and chemical compatibility data are accessible through the MODU Cloud™ platform.
